Yeah, if the scale breaks when you weigh yourself, that's probably a pretty good indication that you need to lose some weight!
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

I was doing well working out 4-6 times a week, but I had surgery two weeks ago (nothing serious) and can't work out for 4 more weeks yet.

The doctor said I could return to working out at "half strength" in one week. Guess I'll start jogging again then.

Benefits of lemon water:

Boosts energy, immune system, digestion. Vitamin C has all kinds of benefits, including skin health. Reduces mucus and phlegm. It's anti-inflammatory.
For many people it replaces beverages that are unhealthy and caloric so it aids in weight loss.

I notice that it helps me the most with digestion (bloating). That is my main reason for drinking it. The anti-inflammation properties are the other main reason for me to do it.

Anyway, I lost several inches in bloat since yesterday and I think the lemon water is the main aid in that. I've been exercising regularly for a week. Made dietary changes since Tuesday. I've also quit wheat (again) because that is a major culprit for bloating and inflammation for me. Oh, I'm off alcohol for now, too. I'm considering quitting sugar, but scared to commit.

It's like your muscles are telling you, "Hey, do that again!"

Still not there, but thank you! I'll get there eventually!

And tell me about the lemon water please.

You have stairs in your house, right? If so, one easy thing to do is go up and down them a few extra times a day. Find extra reasons to use them. Take more trips up and down than necessary. Or, you can set a timer and go up and down them every 30 minutes.

When you are brushing your teeth, folding laundry or making food in the kitchen do some simple leg stretches and calf exercises or wall sits. There are lots of little ways to add exercise into our day without trying too hard.

Just weighed myself on my fancy shmancy new scale. I should know better than to weigh in the evening!

The good news is that I am well within the "healthy" range. The bad news is that I am at my highest weight ever. And I feel unhealthy.

In what way does that equal "trouble," and why does the music need to differ?

Shades. Look at me.

The music for free weights is slow.
The music for walking/cardio is faster.

If the music for free weights is the best you can do for cardio, then it's trouble, because you can only work out to the---slow music.

Because you sat on your butt all winter and you've turned into a giant pile of couch potato. Or in my case, a little pile of couch potato.

You're welcome.
