The European countries changed their borders --- a little ---
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

I watched, it was interesting and a bit fast . Perhaps my history of Eastern Europe is a bit thin. Hungary was quite persistent. Interrupted by Ottoman Empire for a spell. I have previously thought Ludwigm is located in an area where some thoughts about living with Islam may have grown up with a basis in experience.

I noticed also Ukraine is of recent appearance. We have people in the US who want our government to rush over and help solve Ukraine's relationship with Russia. I wonder how many here know what that is all about? I know I have very little understanding of the matter. Ok there are different ethnic groups but should they (or not) stay together much like Mississippi and Pennsylvania are in the same country for the common good?
