An authentic replica of Noah’s Ark that opened a few weeks ago in the Netherlands could soon be flooded with tourists.
The ark was designed by a millionaire contractor and creationist named Johan Huibers, to be as close to the original biblical description of Noah’s vessel as possible.
A life-sized replica of Noah’s Ark may soon be hitting the Atlantic Ocean — but don’t worry, there’s no forecast for genocidal floods (that we know of).
The Dutch ship’s creator has announced plans to move the massive vessel, with the help of a barge, from its port in the Netherlands to Brazil this summer as part of a multi-country tour.
The Ark of Noah has already received hundreds of thousands of visitors where it is currently docked in The Netherlands. Johan, the builder of the Ark of Noah has had a passion to show the Ark to the world through the lens of the Gospel. When Johan learned about the lives of many underprivileged communities throughout Brazil, he started praying about how he could help. He felt led to seek support from the local church to pray and seek God’s wisdom and direction to best serve the underprivileged communities. It was decided…this was a message from God to bring the Ark to Brazil, where these communities, as well as many others, may receive the experience of hope. . . ...and what better time than during the Olympics so visitors from around the world can witness this amazing vessel!

Perhaps he should fill it full of food, so that these communities will receive the experience of eating. That would help a bit with the 'hope' message.
On clicking the links describing the ark, I noticed that it is not really authentic. It is not built entirely of wood like the Biblical Ark. It has a steel framework. The builders at least had the good sense to realize that no vessel that size entirely built of wood could possibly be seaworthy, and certainly would not be able to withstand a trip across the Atlantic Ocean.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

"He [Huibers] hoped to take it to London, but had to dry dock those plans when Olympic officials asked him to use safety rules that weren’t around in Noah’s time."
What? Noah's time weren't safety rules? Apparently god was tied up with more important rules. For example: "When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her."
The error is of Huffpost; they wrote it is a replica...
by the way three of my twenty grandchildren live in Woudrichem, 21 km from Dordrecht. I will ask them if they saw the ark.

Yes, please do that. It would be interesting to hear their perspective on it.
