Today is a very special day: It's one of only three days a year that 1/3 of DiscussMormonism.com's official Japanese electro-pop group, Perfume, turns 33 years old! Specifically, it's the oldest member, Nocchi--real name Ayano Ōmoto, Japanese spelling 彩乃大本--who does so.

Nocchi has influenced me in a variety of significant ways.

She has made me a better father.

She has made me a better husband.

She has made me a better son.

She has made me a better friend.

She has made me understand and recognize the enormous value that a Japanese pop music star can have on the entire human race.

She has made me reconsider and question the deep love I have for country music.

She has made it possible for me to treat my fellow human beings with kindness and decency.

She has allowed me to become the best me I can be.

All of you except for DoctorCamNC4Me are displaying the correct attitude. Congratulations to all of you but him.

FUN FACT: Nocchi is the most introverted member of the group. In fact, when they were teenagers, A-chan made all of Nocchi's phone calls for her because she (Nocchi) was too shy to talk to strangers on the phone!
