I'm starting a new job tomorrow. I'm really excited about it, but as always, I could use some nice thoughts and/or prayers. My prior contract ended on December 31st, and they couldn't renew due to budget. I was offered a permanent position with a new company and start tomorrow! I'll be developing early childhood education software.
Also, my fiance was recently laid off. He and I spent today blasting his resume to quite a few companies on Career Builder, Dice, and Indeed. My boss is also going to contact him, and see if he has some things that might work for him. So keep positive thoughts flowing for both of us, please.
