From what I'm able to put together, this is a mis-reading of a story about wire-tapping in relation to the ongoing Russia investigation. It had nothing to do with Trump personally. And none of it was instigated by Obama.

Perhaps, instead of gold, the dominant motif at Trump Tower should be tin foil, the better to keep the CIA from sending brain waves...

Hey, maybe the Democrats can dress in white again to protest one of the most egregious and slanderous accusations a sitting President has levied against a former President in the modern era. You know. Because dressing up gets crap done. :/

If there was enough suspicion about Trump for the FBI to get a legal warrant for a wire tap on Trump Tower, that reinforces my suspicion that one of the main reasons Trump decided to run for president in the first place was the desperate hope that as President of the United States he could somehow use the power and influence conferred on him by that office to deflect or avoid just indictment and prosecution for real and serious crimes he had committed.

Sometimes wearing a particular kind of clothing is an effective and appropriate response to a political situation.

Suppose, for instance, one has to sit in front of Trump listening to a series of hypocritical and often mendacious statements, and does not wish to behave an openly disrespectful and disruptive way to the president (such as shouting 'YOU LIE!" as someone did to Obama). Then deciding as a group to wear a particular kind of clothing is a good way of calling attention to oneself, and ensuring that your motives get talked about.

At other times, other kinds of actions are appropriate and effective. The women who dressed in white for Obama's speech are all experienced political operators, and know far more about hardball politics than you or I ever will. They'll do whatever it takes to make their point in the way they judge most effective.

Perhaps you need to ask why you are letting this issue raise your blood pressure so much. It's not good for you at all. Something about women, perhaps?
