Remembering the last President

Post by _MeDotOrg »

A man doesn't have to love babies to be a great leader, but it definitely makes you feel there is a human being underneath the person.

On his way back from Asia, Obama stopped at a private terminal in Anchorage. He saw the baby with the hat on, walked over and made friends. Mom took the selfie.

...it's just a nice barometer of his humanity.

The stronger indicator of his humanity is that the babies love him.

You know, under the right conditions, he could come back. But I doubt that will ever happen.

The same with animals. I can understand people that are uncomfortable being around dogs (they probably didn't grow up with them), but I'm always a little suspicious of people that dogs don't like.

My sweet yellow lab, Mia, loved everyone except my neighbor across the street (he seems like a nice enough fellow), but she would growl and show her teeth whenever he came by. I wonder what she sensed.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Pretty safe bet she sensed something was "off" about him.

Children can certainly be manipulated into acting in friendly ways with an adult but no one can produce the relaxed posture and facial expression in a baby like Obama does in that picture without being authentic.

Jersey you just proved the item I saw on MTP where polarisation of the American electorate is strong. You don't see anything good about Obama? At least he is a good family man. No dirty locker room dirty talk

Every comment I made on this thread was complimentary towards Obama. I have no clue what you're talking about aussie and I'd appreciate it if you'd explain your comment to me.

My last dog (Riley... short haired pointer) was a people dog as well and he didn't seem to care for him either. That's two thumbs down. Hmmm.
