The only way I could see right wingers turning on the GOP is if a great number of them lose their healthcare, but even then, that assumes these people will recognize where the pain came from. They certainly don't understand what their party stands for now, so why would they recognize it in the future? I'm convinced they would find a way to blame Obama, because that's what Fox News would tell them to think.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
Trump will not face any serious consequences unless Republicans in congress turn on him. That won't happen as long as their voters keep supporting Trump. Trump supporters will continue to support him as long as Fox news tells them to. So it ultimately comes down to what Fox News decides.

The Republican leadership is basically an amoral group who are only spurred on to a histrionic reaction when trying to besmirch a potential Democratic presidential candidate and will turn a blind eye to serious misdeeds and acts of high treason by a Republican President.

notwithstanding the hyperbole of your accusations - you led with "amoral" and then proceeded to detail a morality.
That being said, what are your thoughts on a representational form of government? Do you think it requires to much of your personal time due to unresolved issues with micromanagement? or is there a neurosis akin to narcissism at play here? Grandiose paranoia is often founded upon feeling inferior - and those feelings may be valid if you have constantly been ridiculed and mocked by those who have been unable to gain self-esteem naturally through work, daily life, and emotionally mature relationships.

If you say that one more time I will take my ball and go home!

Impeachment has never been a cure-all. Richard Nixon resigned before an impeachment vote occurred. Bill Clinton was impeached(charged) for lying about a blowjob. He was not removed from office(found guilty)

To hear subgenius ranting about 'grandiose paranoia' on the part of our little penguin friend is to experience a sense of irony that is truly poignant ...

So why does Trump feel so inferior? Is it because he knows that he's a nepotistic fake blowhard who owes his position to the media industry he rails at?

apart from Trump's obvious knowledge of and extensive experience with the media machine, i believe i already gave the answer to your question in my above post.
