The DHS has quietly announced a new rule starting in the middle of next month to start monitoring the social media and search histories of all immigrants in the United States, including naturalized US citizens.
I have a hard time seeing this one stand up in court, but the mentality behind it is alarming, both in the surveillance state implications and in the singling out and targeted naturalized citizens as a special class of people deserving of government scrutiny.
