“Judge Roy Moore has more honor and integrity in that pinkie finger than your entire family has in its whole DNA,” Bannon said in his 30-minute speech at Oak Hollow Farm. “You hid behind your religion. You went to France to be a missionary while guys were dying in rice paddies in Vietnam. Do not talk to me about honor and integrity,” he said, referencing Romney’s Mormon faith.
Does this type of attack have any type of affect on Mormon Breitbart fans, and loyal Mormon members of the Bannon wing of the Republican party? If Trump picks up on this theme, will it affect Trump's popularity among many Mormons?
"We have taken up arms in defense of our liberty, our property, our wives, and our children; we are determined to preserve them, or die." - Captain Moroni - 'Address to the Inhabitants of Canada' 1775
Popularity among Mormons in general? Or Mormons that agree with Bannon? Or Mormons that believe being Mormon overrides any and all things?

Subenius, do you agree with Bannon that Trump has more integrity in his little finger than Mitt Romney because he dodged the draft and elected to serve an LDS mission?

Why is military service a moral cudgel for politics? I think it's odd and self-defeating for our system. I'd rather have a smart NASA engineer elected to office over a grandstanding vet.

Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.

I think it is mostly a holdover from it being an effective attack on Bill Clinton in the '90's. That was about culture clash between baby boomers and older generations that either served or revered serving in WW II as a symbol of service and sacrifice for the country.
It still has cache' on the right as a shibboleth for military support, except when it is their person who avoided service, at which point they turn into abject hypocrites and their political opponents try and fail to hang them on their hypocrisy.

I thought that died when Republicans mocked Kerry with those Purple Heart bandaids.
