Ballistic Missile Emergency Alert Mistakenly Sent To People In Hawaii

This got me thinking about what a hazard it is to have someone prone to believing fake alerts in the White House.

I wonder if Russia has contemplated hacking FOX News or Brietbart to produce a fake incoming missile alert to see if Trump goes ahead and pushes the button on N. Korea. I wouldn't put it past them or him.

He's that easily played when it comes to fake information.

You missed the point. It had nothing to do with blaming anyone for the false alarm. But what a horrible 38 minutes the entire state of Hawaii had to endure. The mountain of tweets/texts saying goodbye to loved ones was heart breaking.

Are there any texts of people taking their last minutes on Earth to tell off their boss? *crosses fingers*

Now that I think about it, there's totally texts of people confessing their unrequited love, isn't there?

No. The point is the one you were making that Maksutov corrected:

I mean, it's really odd that you can take this “F” up, and this one was a damn up of epic proportions, and turn it into a Russian hacking operation so Trump will launch a nuclear war on North Korea. That was the point. And when Mak was like, "Uh. No. It's just a damn up by a damn up.", you backpedaled trying to not make yourself look as loony as you did.

Again, freak outs over nothing are currently a Democratic party policy.

You know, you can really be pretty stupid sometimes. There was nothing in Mak's short quip that "corrected" anything I said nor did it change the point I was making.

Given the level of hysteria that it caused in an entire state, I don't see what's so "loony" for me to wonder how Russia could possibly take notice and advantage of this incident in the future.

Given the fact that Trump has made it perfectly clear that government operated intelligence agencies like the FBI and CIA cannot be trusted and that FOX News is the ultimate source of all information that is worth knowing, why is it such lunacy to ponder what he'd do if he were given into fake alerts the way he is fake news all the time?
