I can't hear you.

Hundreds of thousands of women marched across the country this weekend.
Rather than listen, Trump took the opportunity to sarcastically mock the marchers:

Pardon the pun, but the man seems constitutionally incapable of listening to criticism.
I think one of the things that is happening consistently in the Trump Presidency is that the more he plays to his base, the more he alienates the rest of the country. The very thing that his base loves, that assured boorish sense of self-absorption, is the very force that continually energizes the opposition.

He's not mocking the marchers in that tweet. He's self-aggrandizing.

I'm sorry, but what coherent message was being sent by the marchers? It seemed to be pretty muddled.

Do you think the message was to thank Trump?

I dunno. Here's a google image search of protester signs:
https://www.google.com/search?q=womens+ ... 00&bih=769It just seems like a bunch of women moaning about men.
eta: Or letting people know they're really, really, really into their vaginas:

Yeah, pretty much that's the not so hidden message there. He can't talk about anyone else without referring to himself and his self percieved greatness and superiority and victory over all things "disaster'.

I dunno.
Really? You don't know?
Do you think that because the protests had more than one theme it was therefore impossible to determine whether the marchers were there to thank Trump?

News are reporting "Women's March in Orlando to urge women to run for office, organizers say".
Why only to run for office? Why don't feminists also urge women to study science and engineering? We need more women as scientists and engineers. For me science and engineering are more important than running for office. In all honesty what a sexist agenda from the feminists, all they care about is women ruling over men.

I have no idea what the message was, MeDotOrg. Some signs were moaning about their perceived wage gap. Others were about Trump's crap hole comment. Others were celebrating their vaginas. Other signs were to let us know, apparently, women are going to exist in 2020. Others were telling the bogeyman Patriarchy to kill itself. Others were talking about their clitoris. Some talked about gay women, others blamed White women for stuff, and another suggested we're in a Black Mirror episode.
So if you're going to be pedantic and ask me if the marchers were there "to thank Trump" then I don't really know how to interact with you right now.
What I'm saying in no uncertain terms is this women's march was a muddled mess of competing themes that make them look foolish, dumb, entitled, and concurrently mentally ill. Basically 3rd Wave Feminism summarized nicely.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood that you weren't directing that to me.
