KG, assuming you have neural activity, could you provide a reference, or elaborate, on what Senator McConnell was objecting to? Because "objecting to military pay" isn't the same claim as "objecting to a military pay bill".
And everyone here knows that you never even considered reading the actual text for what the bloated Democratic senator was requesting..... Because liberal.

What text?? The whole thing is on camera you idiot.
He was obviously objecting to the potential political backlash if Democrats could take credit for extending military pay. Republicans didn't even consider it! Trump took to Twitter like the epic moron he is, and lied to the American people by saying Democrats were literally denying military pay in favor of illegal aliens. The fact is Democrats wanted to pay the military and McConnell shut it down for the night saying he'd pick it up the next day for discussion but of course, the next day came and he didn't bring it up. He figured it was after 1 am and no one was paying any attention anyway, so what the hell is one more lie on camera?
Democrats also introduced a bill to withhold Congressional pay during shutdowns.

I'm not really up to speed on Senatorial proceedings. What does him talking about the bill in 2013 have to do with 2018, objecting 'tonight', and then 'we're gonna discuss again tomorrow' mean?
For those curious it starts at 1:28 and ends at 1:48.

She's talking about
unanimous consent, which is rare and took place in 2013 during the last shutdown.
"A senator may request unanimous consent on the floor to set aside a specified rule of procedure so as to expedite proceedings. If no Senator objects, the Senate permits the action, but if any one senator objects, the request is rejected. Unanimous consent requests with only immediate effects are routinely granted, but ones affecting the floor schedule, the conditions of considering a bill or other business, or the rights of other senators, are normally not offered, or a floor leader will object to it, until all senators concerned have had an opportunity to inform the leaders that they find it acceptable."

you conveniently have not clarified what the bloated Democratic senator was referencing...Calendar 36 H.R. 1301...a bill introduced in March 2017....yet now she is interested in passing that bill? por que? .....have you even bothered to skim this bill? (spoiler alert: nope you have not...because hair-fire).
IF YOU HAD READ THE BILL YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED THAT IT HAS A TITLE - "
Making appropriations for the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017, and for other purposes". (emphasis mine)
Now, if you weren't a complete moron you would also have noticed that Provisions of this bill were incorporated into other bills which were enacted, so there will not likely be further activity on this bill. (see also Bill H.R. 244)
SO, what we really have is a Democratic Senator making a feeble sound-bite in an attempt to exclaim - "Mitch hates the troops!" so that morons like you (a.k.a. people who don't know much about government) can light their hair-fires and run around with a idiot-like understanding of what just happened. Because, you are much like the governor of Hawaii that can't remember his Twitter password and thus can't think of any other way.....
(good law, you is stoopid)

Uh, that's BS. I just watched her interviewed this morning and I also watched a Republican respond and there was no comeback on his part other than, "This is something many lawmakers try to do from time to time but it is preferable to fund everything at once." Hell even McConnell's response agrees with this, which pretty much proves you're either 1. an idiot just making crap up or 2. quoting some Right Wing rag like dailycaller. If half of what you said were true then McConnell and the Right Wing propaganda machine would have had a field day over this.
Even the Right Wing Washington Examiner pointed this out:
Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., proposed fast-tracking a bill on the Senate floor after a midnight budget deadline Friday that would have ensured paychecks continued. But the move was opposed by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., leaving the military and hundreds of thousands of civilian workers hanging.
“I want to send a very clear signal that we don’t want any moment to pass with there being any uncertainty with any soldier anywhere in the world that they will be paid for the valiant work that they do on behalf of our national security,” McCaskill said.
No apologetic BS about how this was just meaningless political grandstanding that couldn't have gone anywhere anyway.

Here's an interesting take on the negotiations:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/pow ... 720a0e49aaTL;DR - The Democrats just needed a reason to pass the budget, and it was basically just posturing on their part.
Let me know if I'm off on that.
