HYPOCRISY !
NBC and the NFL have combined to stand up for one of the most hypocritical statements in sports history.
NBC made sure, presumably to protect free speech, it would show any and all anthem protesters for the playoffs and Super Bowl:

The NFL, NBC’s partner for this year’s Super Bowl, invites a veterans group to place an add in this year’s Super Bowl game program only to immediately revoke the very same free speech rights they and their broadcasting partner claim to highlight and protect.

What’s worse, and what will continue to shame Goodell and the NFL, the ad the veterans group proposed was really about American patriotism (rightfully so for the biggest game in this American Sport) not free speech rights, targeted no person, no color and no cause!
I’m passing this year, giving my tickets to a company wide drawing with some travel expense funds.
