I had a next door neighbor that was a priestess in a "Temple" that provided similar services. The Temple was in her home. We'd noticed lots of different cars showing up there, and assumed she was maybe selling weed or something. She was growing weed, which she used in her "services." The weed-growing room caught fire, and she sold the house and moved away. A couple months later, someone in the neighborhood sent around an article from a paper in Phoenix about how she'd been busted for prostitution.

Sounds like Arizona may be engaged in religious persecution.

I imagine once the neighbors had a good whiff or two from that fire, they were pretty apathetic about the whole thing.

One of my favorite early web sites was the Jihad to Destroy Barney the Dinosaur, which painted a bleak dystopian future controlled by Barney and his cohorts.
