Gotta love these ladies!! A $1000 bonus generated from the recent tax reform bill (not to mention the wage increases and capital investments into our economy) in now nothing more than crumbs.

But wait a minute, not too long ago Pelosi couldn’t control herself about how a $40/paycheck was UUUUUGE!

These liberals really have no shame. By this November they will be shamelessly rationalizing why tax reform was their plan all along! Just watch!

Just doing the math, a $40 per paycheck tax cut when you get 26 pay checks per year is an additional $1,040 per year in after tax income.

A $1,000 bonus to a Walmart employee is worth perhaps $800 after payroll, federal, and income taxes.

So which number is bigger? $1,040 after tax for each of 160 million Americans? Or $800 after tax for every Walmart employee who have given at least 20 years of service to Walmart?

When we consider that we just lowered the taxes of the billionaire owners of Walmart by 10% (in total by about $12 billion a year), giving a $1,000 bonus to their senior employees (for a total pre-tax expenditure of $400M) isn't crumbs?

You forgot to calculate the tax savings for these employees that starts next month.

OK, add a savings of about 8 dollars a month.

Over what time frame should he calculate that? Month? Year? 5 years?

For a tax break that becomes a tax hike in the not too distant future for many a Wal*Mart worker, that seems like something you'd want to nail down.

This bill was specifically aimed at liberals. Notice how a lot of tax deductions for artists and entertainers miraculously disappear. Mortgage interest got hit hard which mostly affects Liberal states like New York and California. Moving expenses for those who have to travel far to work disappear.

The only areas where it really hurts Trump supporters is the alimony deduction.
