DACA under the Knife - What Democrats should do

I don't think for a second Trump and the GOP would deport 1.8 million people. That would be political suicide. Trump had already stated in the beginning that he had a true "love" for the DACA folks and that we as a country needed to "take care of those kids." He then urged Congress to reinstate DACA but has since decided to use it as a chip in the game for funding his stupid border wall, making Shumer believe that suddenly he'd risk deporting them if he doesn't get his wall.
If I'm Shumer, I'm not agreeing to a damn thing and calling his bluff.
Just think of the damage it would do to the GOP and Trump if he didn't get his signature border wall and he ends up facilitating the deportation of hundreds of thousands of residents who are all related to millions of eligible voters. I don't think any GOP politician would risk that, even the really stupid ones like Trump.

If you think anything the GOP and Trump does at this point is political suicide I got a great investment opportunity in a new cryptocurrency. I'm calling it I'mTotallyTheSmartestGeniusCoinTheBestWithTheBestWordsCoinTM.

I'm thinking in terms of the upcoming elections.

Well. Here in Utah we actually have a nice bellwether election that's going down between Congresswoman Mia Love and her challenger Ben McAdams. He's a well-liked Democrat, a centrist, and a career politician. He's also male and white. She's Mia Love and votes 95% along Trump or party lines. She's viewed as a cynical opportunist.
If he can overcome Utah's token racial progressive then I think you're onto something. It's going to be hard for White suburban Mormon voters to not vote for a Black Republican Mormon woman.

Do you think it is healthy as a self-professed Christian to exhibit so much hatred of this woman?

Hate? Why on earth would you suggest that I hate her?
Kevin, it's very probable that someone like you doesn't know this but people are capable of having political position without hate. Hate isn't a requirement to enter the political arena - even though, unfortunately, it is often present in said arena. As a matter of fact, while hate certainly contaminates and divides, it weakens political positions. Think about it, it may be helpful for you at some point.

Kevin,
While it is an extremely unfortunate thing to witness on the board, I have frequently seen how completely intolerant you are on a wide variety of things. In this particular case, it is Christianity that you use because you believe it strengthens a political stance - but in reality, it's just another example of your myopic extremism and glaring bigotry.
Anyway, given the fact that you have accused me of exhibiting "such hatred of a woman", I think you should have answered my question. Want to give it a go?
