I haven't, but I did read the article he published in the Wall Street Journal that is on the book's subject:

But yesterday's shooting put a really dent in the cerebral take Pinker presents. Maybe things are better, and statistically that only makes sense given the advances and data he cites. But the intractability of some conditions of modern American thinking and polemic entrenchment make it feel like he may be overlooking the inertia of the moment slipping in a different direction even if the trend is a net positive.
