Will Trump hold another Press Conference?

It's been over a year since Trump held a press conference.
How does this compare to other Presidents' first year?Bill Clinton: 11
George H. W. Bush: 27
Ronald Reagan: 6
Jimmy Carter: 22
Gerald Ford (who only served from August to December in his first year as president): 4
Richard Nixon: 6
Trump has consistently painted the press as an adversary. As the Supreme Court has noted, sunlight is the best disinfectant. If the President can't hold a press conference more than once a year, how do the American people get answers to questions? Put it this way: in a year that found him on Trump golf properties for 100 days, he didn't have time to squeeze in a press conference?
But imagine a press conference: Questions about Stormy Daniels, payoffs, all the people who have pleaded guilty to Mueller, the constant turmoil and chaos. I have a hard time imagining how it would go.
Anyway, I'm not sure how, if or when Trump holds another press conference.

He holds court everytime he tweets. He's probably the most communicative President in history.

In one direction perhaps.
But as far as listening to people, he is probably the least communicative one.

But then we are also told by his staunchest supporters to "not take his tweets seriously". I can't really claim my boss is a good communicator just because he shares a couple of funny memes with me everyday.

Drumpf is no president. He's a placeholder for the next legitimate one.
So if we get no press conference, what are we really missing? Whenever he talks, it's all BS anyway, so it really makes no difference. If anything, it helps him. The less he talks, the better for his reputation (not that it could really be properly salvaged at this point).

So, what's the point of a press conference? He knows the media would be after him, his advisors know he'd probably say something retarded, and not one single constituent at this point would change their mind about him or any of his policies.
Covfefe. <~ That's just gold, right there.

I understand how you feel, but I think this is
exactly the type of thinking we need to avoid.
What is happening is that Trump is poisoning the norms, so we say the norms don't matter. I know I am broken record when it comes to bringing this up, but when we begin to believe that the difference between truth and fiction is irrelevant, we become susceptible to increasingly illogical ideologies.
So you say press conferences do not matter because Trump spouts of prevarications, misdirections and outright falsehoods? That is
precisely why they matter. We have to continue to hold him up to the standards of the Presidency.

You're absolutely right about this, MeDotOrg. Point well taken.
My post was written out of exasperation with the guy.
