Trump Plans to Send National Guard to the Mexican Border. Sadly our President has fallen victim of a massive conspiracy to send all of our troops to the Rio Grand, leaving our Northern border virtually defenseless.

Shouting "Remember the Soft Lumber Tariffs!", hordes of Canadians in the vaunted Gordon Lightfoot brigade will come across Vancouver Island (building canoes made out of genuine Canadian lumber) and silently cross Puget Sound and take Seattle.

All of this information has been developed by multiple U.S. intelligence services, but the intelligence has been rigorously repressed by Democrat forces within the deep state hierarchy. There have been talks at the highest levels of the DNC and the Canadian Government. Project Blue Wave has developed a fifth column on the West Coast: Grunge Rockers in Seattle, Foodies and Hipsters in Portland, Nancy Pelosi's Clone Army in San Francisco, Unemployed screenwriters in Los Angeles, and Grunge Surfers in San Diego.

After Seattle is taken, the fifth column will rise up, and Jerry Brown will form the Vichy Republic of the West Coast. With Netflix and Amazon now under Canadian control, the U.S. government will have no alternative but to capitulate to Trudeau's Terms. Canadian Soft Lumber will have been avenged.

I think the only real story on this one is that the announcement seems to have come as a surprise to the Pentagon. It isn't unheard of to utilize national guard down south, both Bush and Obama did it. Probably worth noting that those were for specific missions instead of a general "until I get my wall" but still not without precedent.

The other bit of military news that came yesterday was Trump stating he would prefer to withdraw from Syria, running counter to what most of his advisers think on the matter. Time will tell, I suppose.

your post seems a little muddled at this point...if both Bush and Obama did it without much hair-fire then why so much of it now?

And while Trump is not actually deploying them for a broad, vague, and general mission - does the mission not always justify the action?...I mean, by definition as it were.

I have no idea how you could read "hair fire" in anything that I wrote. Most of the media reaction has been fairly muted as well. If you always use the same phrase to describe every different kind of reaction, the phrase becomes devoid of meaning.

It's great that the National Guard is saving us from those evil Mexicans that mow our lawns, pick our strawberries, tend to our elderly, nanny our children and cook our meals.

I wonder when Canada will send troops to the border to block those rumored caravans of US citizens heading North to sneak into Canada in search of sanity.
