Sometimes I wish we still settled our disputes this way. I watch this every morning to get myself going for the day.

I get myself going for the day with a nice cup of tea.. I try to save my murderous fantasies for after lunch.

I'm happy with Optometry but it does lack the thrill of the fight we've evolved to love as humans.

Have you considered joining a gym that trains in MMA? I did a lot of training in that, I guess, "discipline," and even got to roll with Joyce Gracie's crew once when they came by to observe and train (met the man himself and he was very together). If you want to get fit, learn how to dominate another human being, and feel like you got your crap together Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is great.

I stopped watching Vikings once the Ivar storyline started to take over. I loved everything right up until Ragnar's death.

Have you watched the series Vikings on the History Channel? This meant a lot more to me than a murderous fantasy. Maybe you'd feel differently if you saw the whole series. The struggles we face in daily life may not be as violent or dramatic but sometimes they are no less difficult to overcome.

Yes, I've watched the series. It was entertaining but I still prefer to start my day with tea, thanks.

And i think any adult who watches clips like this to 'get himself going in the morning' should seek help. You seem to have a giant hole in you, man, and you're trying to fill it with such negative things. Viking fantasies, white supremacy, etc. It must suck to be so angry and feel so impotent. Poor you.

You should take Doc's advice. A martial art might be good for you. The eastern ones tend to have a positive philosophy as well. You might benefit from some of that.

Well Ivar was a monster, at least from the Anglo Saxon perspective. But then again, so was Ragnar, Ubbe, Bjorn, etc. The Vikings were out of land and there were people already living in England. The land wasn't going to just vacate itself.

You know bantering away endlessly back and forth with little rat terriers like yourself in a courtroom is what makes me think the Vikings had it right when it came to settling conflicts.
