It is not unreasonable to recognize that this is a growing danger for future spaceflight, though, so far, it does not yet seem to present an insurmountable hazard to current activities in space. However, it is not nearly as unreasonable and dangerously irresponsible as denying the reality and danger of human caused climate change. The latter is very nearly as stupid and irrational as denying heliocentrism and that the planet we live on is a rotating spheroid.

Maybe Subbie does worry about Global warming and is worried that he will not be able to safely exit earth to another planet.
