There are those few Trump fans who are POCs (people of color). I could understand POC Republicans before Trump, but I am having a real difficult time fathoming POC Republicans in Trump's GOP. And the numbers indicate quite clearly that this is Trump's GOP.

Evidence continues to pile up indicating that Trump is a white supremacist, or, at the very least, that he sympathizes with and enables white supremacists. Being a POC and a Trump follower is being an enabler of your own persecutor and/or oppressor. There is a reason why Trump goes after Muslims and brown immigrants but does nothing to police the immigration of whites. He's a racist. He has a record of being a racist.

What is white supremacism all about? It is about white people being in power, and brown people being under white rule. It does not matter that you have some POC friends, or that you are a POC. That's no defense against the accusation that, as a supporter of Trump, you are a supporter of white supremacism. If you support Trump, you support white supremacism, either directly or indirectly, either wittingly or unwittingly. Don't be Trump's chump.

If you are conservative and a POC, you damn well ought to do everything to fight back against Trump's takeover of the GOP. You should stand with the vocal Republican and non-GOP conservative opponents of Trump and Trumpism.

I’m pretty sure you can’t underestimate the stupidity of most human beings, especially people who are openly drumpf supporters. There were Jewish nazi sympathizers and there are active Mormons who are openly gay so why not POC who support our racist Cheeto-in-chief? People can rationalize anything and lots of people are just not all that bright, hence drumpf.

I don't know how people of color can be Latter day Saints. The Book of Mormon is a fabrication to serve a racist need and the taint is found throughout the doctrines, the practices, the personalities. It is now a soft, gentle, patronizing racism, which makes it more insidious. I guess the POC believers might feel safer within it...it might be a matter of adaptation for survival.

This may be one of THE MOST RACIST posts I have ever seen on this board. The idea that we should have standards for how minorities (or POC) should think, vote, act or associate with goes to the core of why left wing liberals are just plain dangerous and out of touch.

Two things. One, Kish is not a left-wing liberal. Two, actual left wing liberals would have a similar reaction to yours. I winced a little when I read the post, as I'm 100% sure how a white guy telling a POC what they should think and do would be received in left-wing circles. And, it should be noted, the world is full of conservative folks who instruct POC on how they should think and behave. I'm not sure I've ever seen a conservative person defend a liberal POC in the full-throated way Bach does in this case.

Most African American contractors I've met in the construction business support DJT and the enforcement of the southern border. Mass and illegal immigration of unskilled impoverished people hurts African American people the most.

It's a good question. It happens all the time, evidently. The more I understand Mormon History, the less it makes sense to me. Pure and delightsome is a fig leaf over white and delightsome. It is difficult to face the racism baked into Mormon doctrine. I am sure it is unpopular to accept the fact that Mormonism is racist at its foundation and in many ways continues to be so, but I can't deny the facts. Look at the Book of Mormon, which has God placing a curse on the Lamanites to make them "dark and loathsome." Yikes.
