Hair on Fire

As some here might know, I have substupid on ignore, but enough people quote him or reference his posts for me to know that he likes to accuse anyone not as addled as he is that their reaction to the current administration is someone with their hair on fire.
I was thinking about this and it occurred to me, it's like criticizing someone for being upset over their kid being kidnapped. If you are honestly watching what is happening with this moron of a president and his cabinet, you'd have to be a complete and utter imbecile if you weren't highly concerned.
So... that explains substupid. He's like the daft nimrod watching everyone panic over all the zombies wondering what the big deal is just before one tries to take a bite out of his brain and realizes it lacks the substance and nutritional value that zombie needs.

by the way, on a related note: the constant call for civility, especially by people on the left, is really starting to drive me crazy. Now is not the time for civility. All civility does right now is normalize what should be regarded as abnormal as it gets.
Civility in these times is a pernicious lie. You don't call out BS with more BS.

It seems like a projection problem. subs is part of that group that spasmed in continual ‘hair fire’ mode for 8 years when President Blackenstein was in office, over nonsense conspiracy theories revolving around Uranium 1, Clinton Foundation, birth certificates, Benghazi, Dijon mustard, wedding rings, flag pins, Secret Muslim beliefs, and just about anything else that Fox could shove down their gaping maw.

There is definitely something to this. There is a love by the right wing nuts for "liberal tears." That is clearly a revenge response to all the irrational tears they shed over the loss of all white presidents and its attendant idiot conspiracies.

Not everyone wants open borders and a robust social welfare state. I can understand how those who want those things would be concerned but some of us don't.

I suppose you overlooked the word "honestly" (or just have trouble recognizing the word in the first place).

Obama believed in enforcing the border as late as 2005. I don't see how you could say any politician Democrat or Republican has been as strong on border enforcement as President Trump.

Pshaw. We could certainly be tougher. So far we haven’t employed Gatling guns and land mines.

“We all agree on the need to better secure the border and punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants. We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States, but those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law.”
“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country."
Can you guess the author of this quote?
