Liberal End-Game

So, serious question here. What is your objective? What is the end game you are working towards? Are you hoping to see the House and Senate flip blue in 2018? Take control over Congress, then impeach Trump? Would you aim to just impeach, or also remove? And would this apply to both Trump and Pence, or just Trump? Is your goal to remove both, ie remove the administration, seeing it as an illegitimate Putin puppet regime? And then Nancy Pelosi becomes the next President?

It seems to me you are asking the wrong question. The Democrat end game is certainly to gain as much political power as possible through any means available. It's also the same with the Republicans, Green Party, Libertarians, and every other party. But that's too broad to really be what you are asking.
It seems what you are asking is what is the motivation behind the Russia investigation, and are assuming it is a liberal-motivated political ploy to accomplish gaining power. While those on the left side of the aisle are certainly going to exploit any weakness evidenced by the outcomes of the investigation, the investigation itself has a justice-oriented end game. I think anyone concerned with the concept of justice, and the protection of our Democracy, should be supportive of that end game and let the political chips fall where they will. To do otherwise means a person prioritizes politics over justice and democracy.

Put in a decent conservative like John Kasich. It was time for a conservative in the White House. Dial down the polarization on both sides before we all get hurt.
The most devastating thing the Republicans could do to the Democratic Party at this point would be to get rid of Trump themselves. They would demonstrate moral authority and effectiveness too. The Democrats would be eclipsed on the issue. But I suspect the culture warriors aren't that smart--they want a war to the bitter end for dominance, partly for ideology and party because they're too damn stupid/unimaginative/selfcentered to seek real peaceful coexistence.

I call BS on that. Republicans have given up virtually all forbearance in the pursuit of political power, but that is not equally true of the Democrats or 3rd parties. There is something to be said for the varying civic attitudes of the people who make up the political parties in the US. Not everyone is equally ends justify the means-y.

Right. But in America, median liberals are to the right of even center-right parties in a large number of western democracies. If those countries are so advanced in moving along the global communist plot, why haven't they, you know, advanced the global communist plot?
