Trump says he wants to strip his critics of their security clearance because they're using it to make money. Sara Sanders is so stupid she said two people are on his list even though they no longer have clearance. But the argument that she is giving is just laughable because no one has benefited financially more from his public office than President Trump.
Let's look at the many ways Trump has been and is making money off of his presidency:
Trump properties has spent 174 days at a Trump owned property which costs the taxpayers extraordinary amounts of money. The secret service was charged more than $137,000 to rent golf carts from Trump. They also have to pay for room and board.
While staying at his Scotland resort the taxpayers had to dish out $77,000 to Trump just for the weekend.
As a result of his Presidency Trump has doubled the membership fee at Mara Lago and room rates at his D.C. hotel have increased 60%.
Trump wine is being sold at National parks.
The government of Quatar purchased an apartment in Trump World Tower for $6.5 million.
China rents a room at Trump Tower for $2 million/year.
Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump profited between $82 - $222 million in 2017. Ivanka pulled in $4 million alone from her stake in Trump International Hotel in D.C. and Jared made $5 million from the apartment complex in New Jersey.
Ivanka's profits from her clothing line got a nice boost to $5 million in 2017 after FOX News urged its millions of viewers to go purchase her products.
