This is one of those times where I wonder if the people behind the scenes at Fox are thinking the next election they may need to be a little more selective on the amount of crazy they endorse. You know they have to back him in public, but I would imagine there were a few groans when this came off the wire.

Maybe. I'm not sure how the powers that be feel about trade wars. Traditionally I would have thought Fox News represented the more neocon side of the Republican party with a strong reliance on the religious right to form their base.
They always seemed onboard with US imperialism, though, and never saw a conservative call for military action they didn't like. I just can't see the same people cheerleading for Bush/Cheney and the Axis of Evil going, "“F” yeah!" when they read about Trump and Kim falling in love...

Yes, because all the other networks are just in it for the fellowship.
Absolutely Fox is in it for"what sells", just look at their program lineup...Simpsons isn't exactly a conservative alt-right propaganda machine.
