Yep, this is something that sporting organizations are going to have to figure out. My knee jerk reaction is that, since the reason we have men and women's divisions in some sports is differences based on sex, we should stick with sex, and not gender, in those sporting events. But I'm certainly willing to listen to any arguments to the contrary.

Given that a trans male to female still produces an unfair amount of testosterone which has been proven to be a factor in athletic performance, I don't believe an "argument to the contrary" exists. .... well, maybe the same argument that someone might offer to allow an able body to compete in the Paralympics...
