If someone is a wife-beating rapist, then they should not be elected to the US Senate, or to an equivalent position in any other country.

Just to get this clear, can you post links to the evidence that the person in question can plausibly be suspected of being:

(a) A perpetrator of domestic violence

(b) A rapist

I ask simply so that this thread can be self-contained. (And I am not, of course, asking for proof beyond a reasonable doubt.)

The current evidence is that his opponent in a Senate race says multiple women have anonymously reported to the Enquirer who then told him that Brown abused them and now a former attorney for his opponent says she represents a client anonymously making that accusation.

And the 'wife-beating'? That can hardly be an anonymous allegation, surely? Or has WD just put that in the mix for fun?

Dog threw that in. The gist of it is that his election opponent is claiming he has secret evidence that Brown is a serial offender against women and a political ally has now just chimed in and added to that charge.

The link Water Dog offered goes straight to his campaign website.

Ah. I'd still like Dog to respond to my request, though ...

What goes around, comes around, bitches.

"His ex wife, like other victims, has a right to be believed!"

"Call Congress and demand laws that allow EVERY victim to be heard!"

wow, a big departure from your previous critical mass for credibility vis-a-vis the Dr. Ford allegation, where the allegation was proof enough for you....and party affiliation of course.
