Perhaps you need international observers. How can as Senator Graham claims steal and election? So glad our system works

My daughter actually got fined for not voting.

An Observer to the above article wrote -
I think the writer captures the essence of American democracy well in that 'The US bills itself as the “greatest democracy on Earth” but that’s just good ol’ American exceptionalism. It’s one of the world’s oldest and most enduring democracies but the most democratic, it ain’t'.

I would add that the idea of American exceptionalism is hooked on Americans' sentiment rather than based on objectivity of an outsider looking in. (Just as many Australians believe they are exceptionally good at sports. But not really. And don't shoot the messenger!).

For the benefits of my American cousins, here is a summary of why's:

- For a start, the American electoral body should be an IDEPENDENT body. NO candidate can be in charge of this electoral office and being a candidate in an election under its administration at the same time. This is a textbook case of '101- How to avoid conflict of interests'. Case in point: Brian Kemp in charge of Georgia's election while being a governor candidate. That's simply a STUPIDITY aspect of Georgian's election process.

- Elections of state offices should be administered by an equivalent state-wide electoral body.
Elections of federal offices should be administered by a national electoral office. This ensures consistency of administration throughout the country, without having issues like pregnant chads, bulging chads, dimpled chads, swinging chads and whatever ...stupid chads! (While this may no longer be the case, it's an example nevertheless).

- Elections should be held on Saturday so that it:
+ facilitates voter convenience
+ gives voters the most opportunity and obligation to do a CIVIC duty which is EXPECTED of each citizen who enjoys the liberty and freedom from opprosssion and tyrany bestowed upon them.
+ minimises the manipulation of voters casting their votes by political parties to suit their own agendas.
+ Impose a fine for not voting. Simply put, it's the price of personalliberty and freedom. There is NOTHING free in this world. And neither a perfect personal freedom concept in absolute terms.

The above lists is, by no means, exhaustive. But the simple fact remains of many US elections: It is simply wrong to claim of being the greatest democracy on earth while failing, election after election, to administer election with the best possible process to ensure best possible putcome with fairness and equity.

That's awesome. I wanted to install electric on my roof, but the ROI was so low it didn't make any sense for me. When will you recoup your cost?

I already have after 3 years. The government subsidizes the cost. You get a good feed in tariff.. I have twelve panels. I had to get the inverter repaired once. .Now with summer I will get credits of around $200 each three months.
