Proof Trump is Dumb as a Stump

While Doc, bach and the other idiots are spending so much of their time attacking the intelligence of a minority female (surprise!), I thought it was worth remembering that this country has a far greater problem than the questioned intelligence of an relatively obscure, freshman congresswoman from New York.
To the point, we have the dumbest damned President in history sitting in the White House, or more likely, in his golf cart. The mountain of examples of his stupidity are just too many for anyone to recall off hand since his campaign days. One stupid remark gets overshadowed with another that is just as or more stupid than the previous remark. But here is a rough list of the ones that come to mind, feel free to add your own.
"If you buy, you know, a box of cereal, if you do anything, you have a voter ID. … The only thing you don’t is if you’re a voter of the United States."
Frederick Douglass is "an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice." Frederick Douglass died in 1895.
“So preexisting conditions are a tough deal. Because you are basically saying from the moment the insurance, you’re 21 years old, you start working and you’re paying $12 a year for insurance, and by the time you’re 70, you get a nice plan. Here’s something where you walk up and say, 'I want my insurance.' It’s a very tough deal, but it is something that we’re doing a good job of.” While it’s difficult to parse exactly what Trump means, it would appear that he conflated health insurance with life insurance, or social security.

"I mean had Andrew Jackson been a little bit later you wouldn't have had the Civil War. " - Andrew Jackson died in 1845, 16 years before the Civil War began in 1861.
Buzz Aldrin's reaction to Trump's idiotic speech on space exploration: "At some point in the future we'll look back and say how did we do it without space?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGFcC5IZyvs
“I told [President Xi] that we’ve just launched 59 missiles heading to Iraq,” he told Bartiromo. The Fox anchor quickly corrected him, “Heading toward Syria.” “Yes, heading toward Syria,” replied Trump.- https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-m ... ake-583136
From the White House Pool Report: "At approximately 2:39, the President initially gesticulated to the crowd below and pointed at the sky. As he did so, one of the White House aides standing beneath the Blue Room Balcony shouted, 'Don't look.'" The Leader of the Free World ignored the time-honored advice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH32aHLhK8U

It shouldn't be surprising that so many of his closest associates have reportedly called him out for his low intelligence.
In the summer of 2017, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly called Trump “a damned moron.”
Later in 2017, five sources reported that National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster described Trump to his dining companions as an “idiot,” a “dope,” and compared his mental capacity to that of a kindergartner.
In April 2018, NBC reported that chief of staff John kelly had called Trump an “idiot."
National Economic Council director Gary Cohn said Trump was “dumb as crap.”
And then we have a litany of tweets that contained misspellings and poor grammar, many of which were "corrected" with second and third failed attempts.
Trump on Puerto Rico: “this is an island sitting in the middle of an ocean. And it’s a big ocean; it’s a very big ocean...”
Trump on climate: “And when you’re talking about an atmosphere, oceans are very small.”
