The National Enquirer Flips On Donald Trump In Playmate Hush Money Scandal

The National Enquirer’s parent company, AMI, has offered “substantial and important assistance” in an investigation into hush money payments.

The parent company of the National Enquirer has flipped on President Donald Trump, agreeing to cooperate with federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York as part of its probe into a hush money scandal involving a Playboy model who had an alleged affair with Trump.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, in a press release touting the sentencing of former Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen, revealed that it had reached a non-prosecution agreement with American Media Inc., which owns the National Enquirer. David Pecker, the chief executive and chairman of AMI, was previously granted immunity.

AMI, as part of the agreement, admitted that it paid $150,000 to Playboy model Karen McDougal to keep her quiet about Trump during the 2016 campaign. Neither McDougal nor Trump are mentioned in the press release, which states that the payment was made “in concert with a candidate’s presidential campaign.”

AMI admitted, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said, that “its principal purpose in making the payment was to suppress the woman’s story so as to prevent it from influencing the election.” AMI has offered “substantial and important assistance in this investigation,” prosecutors said.

"Career prosecutors here in New York have evidence that the president of the United States committed a felony by ordering and paying Michael Cohen to break the law,” Napolitano said while speaking on Fox News. “How do we know that? They told that to the federal judge. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they actually have that hardcore evidence. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they intend to do something with that evidence."

“The felony is paying Michael Cohen to commit a felony. It’s pretty basic," Napolitano said. "You pay someone to commit a crime, they commit the crime. You are liable, criminally liable for the commission of that crime. That’s what the prosecutors told the federal judge.”

Nap is selling commercial time, nobody said the magic words of "solicitation" or "conspiracy".

It's weird how Conservatives just say things. Just *pfft* crap out something and think it's amazeballs.

1) Cohen had been attempting to get Trump Org to make the payments rather than himself personally, but paid himself personally after Daniels attorney threatened to take the story public on right before the General Election. <- Evidence strongly suggesting the motive was to keep the story out of the press.

2) The NDA, the pseudonyms, and the shell company suggest secrecy was extremely important. The shell companies were literally created to facilitate this secretive transaction right before the General Election.

3) Did I mention the date itself, just a few weeks before the election, strongly suggest they didn't want it coming out?

4) Trump's failure to report the debt owed to Cohen on his 2017 financial reporting forms is itself a crime. I'm fairly certain you didn't know this.

5) Trump and Cohen's conspiracy to cover up the repayment to Cohen via fraudulent billing for legal work submitted under the guise of a monthly retainer paid to Cohen was confirmed by Cohen himself.

I mean, I could go on and on, but what's the point? At what point will you concede the President committed a crime?

Melania is able to point to old world traditions on such marital infidelity going back to the time of Vlad Tepes. Vlad Tepes' indiscretions were so well known, the term "necking" was even coined to describe them.

I would think Melania has her liaisons from time to time as her hubby does. Maybe she grabs her targets like the Donald confessed that he did? Maybe that's why they get along despite this nonsense? However, her father was a serial philanderer like the Donald and her mother stood by and remained faithful. I hope she isn't following suit.

In any event, I wonder what the Donald's connection to the pedo Epstein is? He was friends with the confessed pedo and went to his island on several occasions along with Clinton, prince andrew and others. There was a case filed against the Donald by a woman claiming rape when she was 13 by the mushroom man. However the case was dropped and the Donald denied any wrongdoing.
