The DoJ's mandamus petition defending Trump in the 4th circuit emoluments case is bananas incompetent and ironically makes me think better of the plantiff's case.

I appreciate the "throw every argument you can against the wall" nature of such things, but I guess I just naturally expect the DoJ to have the best of the best on this.
