When they recorded Suite:Judy Blue Eyes, it was Crosby, Stills and Nash. Neil Young didn't join the group until the second album. You're right - this is a song that I never thought would be covered.

Yeah, rock 'n roll circa 1969 is sort of in my wheelhouse. I remember buying each of those albums when they first came out. It was right when I moved out of my parent's house into my first apartment. This was truly my psychedelic era. I remember the first several times I heard the second album (CSN&Y) it sounded different each time. I guess I associate those albums with my first steps out on my own.

One of the most popular versions was at Woodstock in 69 with out Young, It was one of there first performances together...Neil Young joined them off and on.

Oh...…..why did you have to bring up Woodstock? One of my cousins was going and my mother wouldn't let me go because she didn't think he'd take care of me.
He went. I didn't.
I hindsight she was right to make that decision but it is one of the great disappointments of my life!

I started to watch the video. I can't. I should have been in that crowd. Ticks me off just thinking about it.
Second only to that was when she wouldn't let my boyfriend take me to Times Square on NYE because she didn't think he'd take care of me either.
I just finished making his dinner. Go figure.

I had a chance to see Elvis in 69, and passed it up.
