Lucy Flores, the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor of Nevada in 2014, alleged then-Vice President Joe Biden kissed the back of her head during a campaign event that year in the state. She claims that Biden touched her shoulders before kissing the back of her head, describing the alleged incident as "demeaning and disrespectful."

Given all the ither documented events of Creepy Uncle Joe Biden, this makes her more credible than Dr Ford by Democrat/Lib measures and merits the question in the OP.

I have to say that I have never had any sympathy with people who physically greet or otherwise physically interact with professional colleagues in gender-differentiated ways.

I shake hands when I meet male professional colleagues. I shake hands when I meet female professional colleagues. I don't kiss and hug male professional colleagues in Anglosphere contexts. I don't kiss and hug female professional colleagues in Anglosphere contexts.

(Things are different in some other cultures, where non-gender-specific embraces are considered normal in professional life. At the other extreme, in some cultures only bowing takes place. )

Where I have had authority to do so, I have tried to lead people to follow the rules set out above, and most people have done so readily. I think it is a pity that Mr Biden seems to have followed a different practice - still, at least he didn't grab her by the pussy, I suppose.

We elected a guy who publicly admitted to crotch grabbing and kissing women who he doesn’t know, so I’m not sure that anything is off-limits, anymore.

Maybe subs is hoping that Democrats will choose a candidate that will reinstate a more positive standard of behavior to the office than the current Prez. : )

I'm cool with calling out Biden. He should excuse himself from the Presidential race.

Biden's spokesman Bill Russo.

"Neither then, nor in the years since, did (Biden) or the staff with him at the time have an inkling that Ms. Flores had been at any time uncomfortable, nor do they recall what she describes."

As noted by Kellyanne Conway, there's been a running 'creepy Uncle Joe' meme for quite some time.
