dude, your ignorance literally just neutered (that fits) the intended sarcasm of your OP. The move away from capitalism and towards socialism brought about economic collapse in Venezuela.

(fyi, actually read the articles you cite and actually research the topic at hand...at least a little)
Good law yoo stoop.

KG, subs isn’t giving any details there but Maduro has made some arguably serious missteps since taking power, and the situation in Venezuela exacerbated in part by his return to greater government control over some aspects of economic activity since the oil crisis back in 2015.

It is also strictly my own opinion that anyone who insists on appearing in public with as many faux medals and awards as Maduro does in the photo that accompanies that article, is a dumbarse. : )

KG’s article is from 2014; if you are claiming that his article speaks to the difference between ‘then and now’, it doesn’t. My comment refers to times since, under Maduro - who has tended to revert to more government control since that time and in contrast to Chavez’s later days. KG is comparing Fox’s response to that time under Chavez to today under Maduro.

Reading is fundamental.

This is American capitalism at work.

In 2017, GM workers in Ohio made $117 million in concessions to the company to keep plant in Lordstown open. In 2018, GM then reaped more than $157 million from Trump and Republicans' corporate tax cuts. But this year, company executives closed the Lordstown plant, causing massive layoffs.

The same year GM workers made their concessions, GM CEO Mary Barra took home $22 million in compensation. Once again, top executives benefit from generous corporate socialism, while American workers get subjected to harsh capitalism. Your thoughts?
