FB2: Crimes of Grindewald (questions and spoiler alert)

If (noted alchemist) ;-) Nicolas Flamel is immortal, then why does he experience pain and his bones seem to crack when Jacob shakes his hand?
If you're good to go for eternity, shouldn't you be in top notch condition to last the duration of forever? Why would an immortal being so obviously suffer pain and arthritis?
And if Dumbledore saw his relationship with Grindewald (including G as he is today in terms of the storyline) in the Mirror if Erised (which shows your strongest desire) how is he going to put that desire aside to join forces with Newt to destroy Grindewald? Will his desire change? If so, to what?
What about Creedence? Do you really think he's Dumbledore's heretofore unmentioned brother Aurelius? If so, why the heck wasn't he mentioned in the Canon?
What's a McLaggen doing in FB2? Is that just a random Potter accessory thrown in there for no good reason?
Speculate with me!
