Honestly, I didn't open the thread beyond the first page and saw posts that appeared to relate to what Doc was searching for. If that is the thread where he and I got into it, then I didn't realize it until you just brought it up. That must be somewhere deeper into the thread. Your memory is clearly much better than mine.

In any event, Doc and I have since made amends over our past scuffles and I assume we're both on good terms as it is now. For what reason would I intentionally bring all that crap up? Last I remember most of it was redacted out anyway.

No, "this" was about a simple request that Shades and the moderators have made a number of times: don't "necro" a dead thread unless you have something to add to it.

So what's with all that snooty commentary suggesting I had an ulterior motive other than what I stated? Not cool.

And no, I've never seen Shades request this (not saying he hasn't, only that I'm unaware of it). Maybe you guys should include it in the official rules list? It makes no sense why we archive threads at all if people are going to get triggered whenever someone bumps them. If the content is truly that bad why not just delete them entirely? I'd be OK with that.

I like it when people bump an old thread. Sometimes it’s a nice blast from the past, you can see old posters, and provides a good review of a topic that was being hashed out.
