Trump to Congresswomen: Go back to your own country!

After 4 Congresswomen of color complained about the treatment of the refugees on our Southern Border, the President suggested in a tweet that the Congresswomen "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."
Donald Trump's thumbs wrote:So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,
Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!
Then come back and show us how it is done. So what happened to "
I alone can fix it"?
Donald Trump has passed the line of no return so many times I can't remember them all. For me it probably started with the "I like guys who don't get captured" snark about John McCain. Asking Americans who were born here to go back to where they came from?
To all Republicans: The President of the United States has told you, in many different ways, that he is a xenophobic racist.
Go back to where you came from has been the calling card of bigots to non-WASP immigrants since the founding of this country. When is it time to give up the fiction that Donald Trump embodies the values of this country? He doesn't give a crap about the values of this country. He is a racist, but he is also a Plutocrat. He is building economically and racially divided country, and he hopes to rule, not with the purpose of rebuilding and repairing America, but of using hatred and fear to appeal to the worst instincts of Americans. If the Republicans in Congress don't speak out against this, we are entering a soft-core
kristallnacht era.

So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all)...
3 of the 4 people he is referring to come from the United States. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez comes from the same
city as Trump. So, you know, he's not exactly wrong about this part, but it's a damn shame.
The fourth immigrated to the United States when she was 10 years old as a refugee from civil war. In a better era, the fact that a refugee can become a sitting member of Congress would be taken as a reflection on the strength of our society.

The man is a base moron. Three of those women were born here. Is there no way to stop this volcanic eruption of ignorance?

OMG you're so damned stupid. Who the “F” else could he possibly be referring to?
He made his comments about 20 minutes after Fox & Friends ran a segment about "the Squad" and aired comments Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley made at Netroots Nation and FOX has since claimed his remarks were merely "comedic" while making an "important point" that the country's values are based on a law that was created in 1929. No one at FOX has dealt with his stupidity (3 or of the 4 were born here) or racism (the fact that he think's they're from other countries based on skin tone) because they just chalked it up as "comedic."

It's an interesting move by Trump, and it seems like a trap.
Democrats were moving in an interesting direction the last week or so, as Pelosi seemed to make an important point about what it takes to legislate rather than just grab headlines and retweets. If a House member can't get votes behind them in the House, they aren't part of the solution no matter how many followers they have or headlines they grab.
In reality, it would pose more of a threat to Trump to have the House Democrats show they can hold a more moderate center rather than be yanked hard to the left by the most extreme fringes of the party.
I mean, who hasn't heard the unofficial Republican slogan of 2020, "We're one election away from losing the country"? It's hard to claim that when the news is focused on effective Democrat legislation and leadership.
I hate to say it, but the silly reality TV president may in fact know how to manipulate people apparently.

A new internal Democrat poll in swing districts released on Sunday showed that socialist Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are extremely unpopular and that they may cost the Democratic Party the presidency and the House in 2020.
"Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view," Axios reported. "Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view."
"Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%," Axios added, whereas "capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable."
The poll's results match numerous other polls that have been taken on Ocasio-Cortez and socialism.
A June poll from inside Ocasio-Cortez's district found:
They don’t like her. She has a more than 2:1 ratio of unfavorable (50.88%) to favorable (21.37%) in public opinion.
They don’t trust her. Only 10.75% thought she had their best interests in mind in quashing the Amazon deal – 32.60% said she didn’t.
They don’t want her. 33.44% are ready to vote against her, and only 13.30% would vote for her.
"A Quinnipiac poll released on Thursday morning found that 23 percent of Americans had a favorable view of the member of Congress, while 36 percent had an unfavorable view — a -13 overall approval rating," Vox reported in March. "This new poll isn’t a one-off finding. Three prior surveys — one in January from Morning Consult, one in February from Fox, and a third in mid-March from Gallup — all found that more Americans had negative views of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez than had positive ones."
