Now, granted the article is a few years old, but what a fascinating thing eh? A star older than the universe?!

Well, I thought that Betelgeuse was really Kolob.

That was pretty interesting.

Ever since seeing Interstellar and finding out that time really does theoretically bend as extremely as depicted in the movie, I sometimes wonder if all the ages and measurements we've taken are off because time seems to be going at a different rate all over the universe.

Does looking at the light of a star and making assumptions about it account for all the various gravitational pulls it had to pass through to get here?

I should read that Astrophysics book by Neil deGrasse Tyson, now that I'm pondering...
