Jeffrey Epstein's apparent suicide Saturday morning in a federal jail launched new conspiracy theories online in a saga that has provided fodder for them for years, fueled by Epstein's ties to princes, politicians and other famous and powerful people.
Online theorists Saturday quickly offered unsubstantiated speculation — including some retweeted by President Trump — that Epstein's death wasn't a suicide, or it was faked. Mr. Trump's retweet of conservative commentator Terrence K. Williams continued to reverberate, drawing bipartisan ire from members of the Senate Intelligence Committee who said the president was playing directly into Kremlin interests.
Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida said Russia bots and trolls had seized on the conspiracy theory and spread it online in an effort to pit Americans against one another. "It's sad (and frightening) to see so many Americans on both sides of partisan unwittingly helping them. Putin has weaponized our polarization," he tweeted, without naming the president.
Where's the proof of this? Is Russia the cause of everything bad now? Do you think Russia is to blame for our disaffection from the church? Don't look at the history, look at those pesky Ruskies who are sowing discontent ....
By the way, I think my hemorrhoids can be blamed on the Russians. I think the Russians caused my divorce through their discontent campaign. I just got cut off in morning traffic and wouldn't you know it was by someone wearing a ushanka (russian hat). Also, over the weekend, I think some Russian must have put drugs in my weed because all I could see was this the entire weekend:

Tell your Russian to use K-Y next time. You can even role play Donny and Vlad.
I'll take the above advice to heart. Those Russians are everywhere, if one looks hard enough. Beware, oh Beware!

So Russian bots pushing this conspiracy theory is of no concern to you because of an innate sense of skepticism? Would you tell Senator Rubio to back off because it tends to make the Trump look bad?

Show me the proof that Russia is affecting public opinion in this country and I will change my mind if the proof is solid. Who cares if so and so republican says this or that without evidence?
This "Russia is behind everything wrong in this country" meme is silly and clearly McCarthyism thinking. It was rightly discounted back in the late 50's. This Russia nonsense originated because Clinton wanted to change the subject about her inept candidacy and try and push people to not read the emails Assange disclosed. It failed. Russiagate was a dud. I don't like Trump but how about we deal with truth and attack Trump on the issues? He is such an idiot and has caved to the war party. His inept negotiating style with the tarriffs, etc. is also an area to make some progress against him. The last election was so close and Clinton, despite being a horrible candidate, won the popular vote. A democrat like Sanders or Warren would win in a landslide, if we focus on the pocketbook issues and not war or the Russia bogey man.
Why do you push this Russia narrative? What is your motivation to do such? The evidence is merely wishful thinking, hearkening back to the old USSR evil empire memes Reagan pushed back in the day.

You've been through this before. We get it.
The moon landing was faked too.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
