Cuomo revisits Trump supporters lying about Trump lying
Cuomo hit the nail squarely on the head. As he said, there can be absolutely no rational debate about Trump's pathological lying, and Trump's aides and appointees who double down on denying that fact and repeating those lies on Trump's behalf are doing a tremendous disservice to their nation and the public, and even, whether Trump believes it or not, even to Trump himself. Many of the lies are so blatant and so easily exposed that they can't help but reflect poorly on Trump and his administration. Nothing is more blazingly obvious than that truth just doesn't matter to them--only what can be made to seem to support what will serve their own selfish interests, everyone else be hanged--especially those aides of Trump who have displayed the audacity and courage to point out to him a truth he does not like.

They. Don’t. Care.

It’s kind of a perfect storm, really. Ways in which Trump scratches that itch for the Right:

1) Abortion. If Ginsberg dies just wait for it.

2) Judges. We all see it.

3) Eat crap, Libs. You been tellin’ us patriots how evil we are for the last 40 years? Suck our balls, we finally have a guy in the White House with some and he ain’t afraid to tell you mentally ill queers just what we think of your degeneracy.

4) And Screw you too, CNN and MSN. damned liars. We got a guy who won’t kiss your dumb asses. No press badge for you; you’ll just lie anyway.

5) Finally. “F” welfare queens and anchor babies. This land is our land. Our forefathers conquered it fair and square. We’ll be damned if we’re just gonna let all those crap holes send their worst to us and screw us out of our birthright. damned Democrats trying to get illegal votes anyway. damned traitors.

6) “F” yeah, military!

I think that about sums up the platform these days.

Trump could best be characterized as a pathological liar and strangely enough that works well with the Republican strategy of convincing just enough people during each election cycle to vote Republican even though it is not in their best interest. Because of this, Republicans are invested in keeping Trump and his lies.

I have lived many decades aware of the lies that occur in politics. Your list is material I am quite familiar with. I do not think the "keep your doctor" was a lie but more a case of just being wrong. Even if we keep that as a lie (he should have known better) your list is an illustration of the relative infrequency of lies when compared to the unrelenting waterfall of fantasy and falsehood our current president uses to project his delusional self image.
