The nation is close to dead

Not only can we no longer enforce the border as we have defined through previously sovereign democratic law, we can't call an illegal alien an illegal alien.
We might as well just bow down before the UN and surrender the keys to Fort Knox to be redistributed as the UN sees fit. We are conquered and have no country anymore. Perhaps its for the best. Time for new alliances and new commitments to be forged.

Define "enforce the border."
We've always had border laws, and we've always enforced them. This is proven by the fact that people get deported every year. How can this possibly be if laws are not being enforced?

That's a euphemism for "kill anyone who tries to enter our country unless they are Caucasian."
By ajax logic, we don't enforce any laws, because some people still get away with them. Just think of all the laws we don't enforce concerning checks on the executive branch!
It's one of those thoughtless, idiotic catch phrases on the right that make no sense once you devote two seconds of thought to it. It's also why the right isn't taken that seriously and constantly sounds maniacal (and consequently called stupid). It's what happens when your worldview is premised on BS.

Oh but you can. So long as you don't do it just "with intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person". In other words: "I believe Mr Mendoza is an illegal alien" is OK. "Hey you ***** illegal aliens, what the ***** are you doing talking Spanish in my store? Get the hell out before I call ICE" is not.
New York City has banned the term "illegal alien" when used "with intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person," the city said.
The city's new guidelines, announced last week, also ban discrimination against someone based on their English proficiency and threats to call immigration authorities on someone "based on a discriminatory motive." These violations can result in fines up to $250,000.
The guidance is for all public accommodations, employment and housing, the city's Commission on Human Rights said.
"We are proud to have worked with the NYC Commission on Human Rights to produce and release this important guidance as we combat the federal government's rhetoric of fear and xenophobic policies that have threatened the health and well-being of immigrant communities," said Bitta Mostofi, Commissioner of the Mayor's Office and Immigrant Affairs.
The Department of Homeland Security defines "alien" as "any person not a citizens or national of the United States."
In a 29-page directive, the commission outlined the ways discrimination can be based on someone's "actual or perceived 'alienage and citizenship status,' and 'national origin.'"
The commission listed hypothetical examples of violations, including:
A hotel prohibiting its housekeepers from speaking another language because it would "offend" guests.
A landlord threatens to call US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement if an Indian immigrant family complains in housing court, after they find mold and cockroaches in their unit.
A store owner tells two people speaking Thai to "speak English" or "go back to your country."
Earlier this month, a New York judge recommended a landlord pay $17,000 after threatening to call immigration authorities on an undocumented tenant. The city's Commission on Human Rights represented the tenant and filed a complaint on her behalf in January 2018, citing the landlord's discrimination against her.
According to the judge's written report, some of the texts the landlord said included "HAVE MY MONEY OR IM CALLING ICES [sic] THAT DAY PERIOD," and "I REPORTED YOU TO IMMIGRATION BOO THEY KNOW IM THE LANDLORD TO PROVIDE THEM KEYS COME DIRECTLY TO YOU."
And following ICE raids in July across major US cities, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called for a path to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants in the US.
The president's slogan, the mayor said, should be "Make America hate again, because he's trying to foment division as a political campaign."

I'm sure the same thing was said by your ancestors after the Civil War and after Civil Rights legislation was passed. The nation is bigger than Trump and it needs a legitimate conservative movement. Conservatives and liberals are the yin and yang of our republic, and conservatives need to rid themselves of this Trump cancer and return to a more normal level of corruption.

It's true. This country has no conservative party, really. The GOP are not conservatives, because obstructionism is not conservatism, and obstruction is all that happens, because hypocrisy and offering bad faith arguments is all they do in terms of governing.

It is ironic that refugees are kept in cages at the border, while the President, Attorney General Barr, and Trump's lawyer are trying to use foreign influence to ruin the credibility of our own government's intelligence evaluations.
I would counter that when the President of the United States trusts foreign intelligence services over our own, our nation is being run by someone who does not have the best interest of the nation at heart. And that is the greatest threat to the nation.

I don't know about this crude guy using the term "boo." But I wouldn't rent to an illegal alien nor would I hire one. In post Trump America that act alone could land me in civil court and subject to business destroying fines from the ACLU. If EAllusion had his way, I'd be in jail for this very thing. This is a truly upside down legal world and a nation that is dead to me, probably even moreso than my ancestors after the civil war.

Perhaps that bolded statement my be true. I don't know.
Can your you cite (links, please) an actual case of someone who refused to rent property to a person known to be an illegal immigrant, and hence was fined by the ACLU?
by the way, surely, rather than 'subject to fines from the ACLU' you mean 'successfully sued by the ACLU and made to pay damages"? A civil court does not 'fine' people - or maybe the legal language in the US is different from what I am familiar with.

Ajax, would you like to empower landlords to ask for citizenship papers for potential renters who either speak Spanish or look brown?
What about the police practice of requiring this same thing for those appearing to be brown?
Would getting rid of immigrants taking America off life support? Would it make the country great again? If so, how?
Edit - speling
