Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced the decision, the first of its kind against a serving Israeli prime minister, in a statement and said the charges included bribery, breach of trust and fraud.

Netanyahu is calling for investigations of the investigators.
What a total random happenstance that seemingly corrupt leaders of far right governments are constantly the victims of conspiracies of investigators against them that must be crushed.

Time for Netanyahu to hire members of the Trump team and ask Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad to investigate Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit. Heck, might as well ask North Korea as well.

I know this is the politics part of the website where our side always good and your side always bad. However, even prosecutors can be corrupt. Wasn't this why Biden threatened to withhold the $Billion in aid until the supposed corrupt prosecutor was fired? Republicans claim Obama's AG ran interference for Hillary and Democrats claim Trump's AG is running interference for him. Either may be true or partially true or false.
I think the answer is that each investigation merits consideration on it's own terms. However, I don't mind seeing that murderous Netanyahu get his due. Perhaps he could be sentenced to live in the occupied territories with his Palestinian cousins?
