...unless you're being harvested as a future Democrat Party voter:
Both New York and New Jersey passed laws this week which allowed illegal aliens to get driver’s licenses.
Coming soon, Democrats support voter id?...or is this just an end-around to knowing where they're at when we need 'em?

"Both New York and New Jersey passed laws this week which allowed illegal aliens to get driver’s licenses." sends like a different planet, but it's the same.

google advises me :
There are variety of ways that 12 states and two territories – California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, Illinois, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico – currently allow undocumented people to get driver's licenses.Jun 10, 2019

I was puzzled by your conclusion or question whichever it was.

Subgenius says that by making laws that allow people to do X legally, this means they're "above the law" by not breaking the law.
In other news, it is still legal for illegal immigrants to buy food.

Funny that Subgenius is talking about no one being above the law when the nation's prime scofflaw refuses to allow testimonies or subpoenaed document requests to Congress.

Trump's actiond in that regard are not illegal...a.k.a. operating under the law.
But maybe Pelosi forgot to call the cops?

GAO is not a law enforcement agency nor is it in possession of judicial or legal interpretation powers in the context you are hoping for. Its an agency of the legislative branch not of the judicial branch....its an auditor.

Which doesn't change the fact that Trump broke the law... which all of us already knew. You included.
The GAO is a
non-partisan and serves at the behest of Congress, but one of its primary duties is to determine illegality if it happens.
Work of GAO is done at the request of congressional committees or subcommittees or is mandated by public laws or committee reports. It also undertakes research under the authority of the Comptroller General. It supports congressional oversight by:
- auditing agency operations to determine whether federal funds are being spent efficiently and effectively
- investigating allegations of illegal and improper activities
- reporting on how well government programs and policies are meeting their objectives
- performing policy analyses and outlining options for congressional consideration
- issuing legal decisions and opinions
- advising Congress and the heads of executive agencies about ways to make government more efficient and effective.
