Was Trump trying to bring China to its knees? It seems the trade imbalance has increased.

What has been Trump's strategy? If those items produced in China were produced in the US they would cost more.

Why do you care? Your PM endorses Trump's trade war with China:

I do not support the current Prime Minister. When the backbench and opposition called for Royal Commission into the banks he called it a "populist whinge" Forced to it became clear that the banks were doing illegal activities. https://financialservices.royalcommissi ... fault.aspx He went on a holiday to Hawaii and was shamed into returning early because of the fires we are currently experiencing. So no comment on whether the Trade war was worth it just a "hey look over here" response.

Why should I click on your links when you never click on anyone else's links? All you do is link-and-run because *reasons*. You can't even be bothered to highlight the relevant portion of the link you're posting because you're lazy. Why would anyone want to get into a "discussion" with you when you don't really discuss anything to any degree?

I think I will stay off politics in this forum. The rapture according to your secretary of state might be anytime soon. At least Australian politicians are generally more skeptical and cynical. Trump's spiritual adviser Paula White is there to deliver the US from the demons. I'll stick with Bart Ehrman.

I literally give less than two craps what you think about US politics.

This is belied by that fact that you keep responding to his posts about US politics.

If I'm honest, I have to say yes (maybe not so much subs - I've been ignoring his posts for a while now. I also put Smokey on ignore).

But it would be more accurate to say that I care that their kinds of opinions exist, as opposed to what they specifically think.

I don't actually think you care about aussies' opinion as much as you're annoyed that he seems to be hypercritical of USA while ignoring problems at home. It's a kind of caring (in this context, meaning that it's caught your attention enough to comment on it).

Mostly, I was just damned with you. I think I knew what you meant.
