Bloomberg has already spent almost twice as much more than Trump did during his whole Campaign in 2016. I heard reports that he is going to spend upwards of 4-6 Billion of his own money. He does not even have to raise money, he does not care, so he can just campaign if he wants, and forget about the fund raising.

Since 1960, only Johnson, Carter, and Trump, have spent less and won. We can look at this as a half full, half empty scenario, but I am curious to see how the Democrat's here feel about this and what you are thinking about it.

If Bloomberg gets the nomination...will you vote for him, stay home, or even vote for Trump? He is everything and more, by scale and history as a "conservative politician," racist, etc...than you can ever criticize and believe Trump is?

Are you going to be able to get behind Bloomberg if he buys the election? What will the Bernie boys do...stay home or vote for Trump? What will the minority vote do?

Trump won spending half of what Hillary did, and now he has the advantage of doing much of his campaign on our dime, so he has the base and history to spend less and still win, but can Bernie, Biden, and the others withstand a 4 billion dollar run? What do the faithful here think about this?

I was going to take the time to deconstruct your post and reply to it point by point but about 2 questions in I realized I just couldn't be bothered.

Long story short: I absolutely detest Bloomberg and am concerned by his presence in the 2020 field. I'm displeased, to say the least, that he seems to be proving just how easy it is to buy your way in to viability politically. I'm disturbed by his previous comments and stances on a wide range of topics, some of which were reaffirmed not that long ago. I do take umbrage at your suggestion that his horrible past actions and statements are worse than Trump's. Don't get me wrong, they are numerous and terrible but I'm sure we could go tit for tat in a horrifying-acts-off between the two ultimately resulting in Trump's loss (or is it a win if you're the worst human in this game?).

All that said I'll be doing everything within my power to reduce his odds of succeeding in the primary in my little corner of the world and am still hopeful that Democrat voters make the right choice or at least party leaders will in the event of no clear delegate winner. If it comes down to it though I would vote Bloomberg over Trump and I imagine there are a fair number of people in that camp. I know we won't agree on this but I find Trump to be as destructive a force as can be on our county, not to exclude his GOP enabler, and would take roughly anything in his place.

Bloomberg is pretty much Trump with an IQ bump.

And actual billions.

Who is you actual choice and why...? I appreciate you trying to tackle this, it is a tough one, and I actually dealt with it with Trump/Hillary last election...what a joke of choices. But I am pleased with Trump's in that he is doing good things, despite who he is. And, again given the choice we had.

I don't expect too much "from the heart" discussion on this as you can see the way it is going above...but in a weird way I appreciate your struggle, it can't be easy. But I obviously believe Bloomberg is much worse that Trump could ever be, and maybe worse for the country than Bernie...which for me is unthinkable...

But there is a long way to go and anything can happen.

I still can't get over Amy, a sitting senator and running for President, did not know who the president of Mexico was...even "dumb ass" Trump knows that. There is a different between a Biden or Trump gaff, to this one.

I wouldn't say I have *a* choice at the time, I still have 2 weeks to settle. As is true of all politicians there are things I like and dislike but I would say Bloomberg is the only candidate that I truly couldn't vote for in the primary.

Gun to my head I'd probably vote Klobuchar (it is hilarious that you criticize her blanking on Mexico's president given all of Trump's; this not even touching on the proverbial word salad that is his speech every time he goes of script) today, she aligns closest with me politically and I think she has some rock solid approaches to some really hard topics. Honorentheos has highlighted a few of those before so I'm not going to rehash it all but I especially appreciate her previous experience as a bipartisan legislator and I see her as someone that can work to build some consensus. Call me old fashioned but I still value governments that can accomplish things through the partisan walls.

I think she is showing that this probably isn't the year for her (I think Honor has said she would be his VP pick and I can definitely see that) but I'm hopeful for her political career. If I was a betting man I'd probably be buying stock in Sanders right now but it is also a long race, a lot can change between now and the convention.

Got to give Amy credit for knowing that Mexico, regardless of whoever is its President, won’t be paying for our border wall. ; )

Trump has had to raid the budget of our armed forces to cover his ‘campaign promise’ ... 3 years in, billions of taxpayer dollars committed to his contractor friends, and we don’t have much more than 100 miles of replaced wall, let alone new.
