So in American you can now be guilty until proven innocent beyond all reasonable doubt.

"Alabama inmate Nathaniel Woods executed for 2004 police murders. Woods' co-defendant, who has confessed to being the triggerman and denies Woods was complicit, implored for his execution to be stopped."

No. You can be found guilty beyond A reasonable doubt. That's all that is asked of jurors.

This is the primary reason why I am unalterably opposed to capital punishment. There have been documented cases of people being found innocent after having been unjustly executed for crimes they didn't commit. I don't care how rarely this happens; if can happen even once, that is an argument against capital punishment that Trump's any conceivable argument in favor of capital punishment, as far as I'm concerned.
