Reminiscent of Hitler blaming the Jews for Germany’s economic and social problems. Modern day scapegoating. The blame is Trump’s failure to act.

I remember when the GOP used to talk about personal responsibility. Kind of hard to make that case when you have the most irresponsible person ever born in charge of your party.

Up until this week, I used to give walking tours of San Francisco's Chinatown. The last tour I gave was on Saturday. There are 14 square blocks and over 10,000 people in Chinatown. The streets were virtually deserted. The ironic thing is that the Chinese are usually the first group to wear masks in a public health crisis. SARS-CoV-2 or no, in the winter you always seeing people wearing masks in Chinatown.

One of the things I think about with social distancing is Portsmouth Square, the back yard of Chinatown. Normally there are dozens and dozens of people, all crowded around makeshift cardboard box tables, gambling. There's usually some people protesting against religious persecution in China. All of that is gone now.

WHat the hell is wrong with these people?

Is there an official moderator/owner posting somewhere that explains what has happened to this board? I refer to the failure of several normal functions, the loss of text from some posts, and the blocks of error messages at the head of some pages.

In order to make this post, I used the list of options at the foot of the message drafting window to:

Selected option Do not automatically parse URLs

The Preview button works; if one presses Submit the screen shows error messages, but the message will still be posted.
