I called Shades on the 19th to tell him the problem with the forum and he said he'd let Keene know, who would then pass it on to some guy named Matt who is the actual owner now. I followed up with him a few times over the past week but he said he still hasn't heard anything back. I've noticed late at night there were a couple of people logged in who I believe were Keene and Matt because they signed up the week the forum opened up back in 2007 and they haven't posted since. So I figured they were working on it. But if they haven't figured it out after all this time I'm not sure its going to get fixed at all.

So I think we should let DT get into the system and fix it since he at least has a clue what's going on with the script. I suspect if EA or RI knew how to fix it then it would have been fixed already. I'm thinking about started another forum to use just as a backup in situations like this one. I've been going through withdrawl over the past week not being able to post or read up on comments from people I've come to respect over the years right in the middle of a nationwide lockdown when people have nothing better to do than socialize online.

In short, this is BS.

I think Shades has to downgrade the PHP version.

DT send him an email and tell him what you suggest. If you don't want to email him then I think you should post a separate topic here about your suggestions and name him in the title OR go to the back up board and do that. You have to register an account on that back up board.

There isn't much I could tell Shades, I have no experience with php, the only thing I could tell him is to downgrade the php version, but I will e-mail him.

I could do some reading on php, but will likely take me weeks to learn it.

It wasn't me, at least not directly.
